The word didn’t say to bind the devil, it says to”resist” the devil, and he will flee. 2Q. Fasting is not to get things from God, It’s not all about us. Forgive me, but this sounds like a make me feel good gospel. 3Q. Don’t you have to repent before knowing Jesus.

Hello Bobby, not sure where these questions come from, as they aren’t addressed on this post, but we love the Word!

If you want more teaching, feel free to watch our weekly service streams; and also, you are more than welcome to come and check out our accredited Bible school, Word Bible College!
To answer your questions briefly, Mark 3:27 says, “But no one can enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man. Then indeed he may plunder his house”. We are given authority to bind and loose in heaven and hell, so this points us to the fact that we have the ability to use binding and loosing against our enemy – which is the devil. We are meant to overcome Him, and that scripture tells us how.
Fasting is about self-denial that leads us to God-awareness and cleansing of distractions, so it is most definitely not about us! We don’t teach or preach a feel-good Gospel, we teach the Word.
Lastly – in order to meet Jesus personally, repentance is necessary, we can see scriptures all through the New Testament proving this for us. In terms of knowing Jesus – Jesus is the Word (John 1:1), so in order to know Him, we study the Word. Repentance should be a constant position of a Christian.
Thanks for your feedback! We hope you check out our stream and Bible College! You seem to be hungry for the Word and that’s a great place to be! God bless!
