Our Mission Statement as a Church is to Love God and Love People!

That means we love people outside of our family – and we do it through free community events throughout the year. Anyone can serve, anyone can be a blessing! Here are some of the events we host:

Backpack Giveaway: A free back to school event where we give out backpacks filled with school supplies, and families enjoy a meal, entertainment, clothes exchange, and more.

Campus Clubs: Our Youth Directors and several volunteers, go into local High School and Middle School Campuses, hosting Christian clubs where students can have a safe place to gather, worship, pray, and hear encouragement. We also host leadership development and disciple student leaders directly, training up the next generation in the faith. We are currently in Vista High School, Rancho Buena Vista High School, Mission Vista High School, Classical Academy High School in Escondido, and Valley Middle School. We have parents and other adults who sponsor buying food for the clubs, and it helps us make sure these students also have a meal on club days.

Christmas Gift Outreach: Life is an official distribution center for Toys for Tots, a Marine Corps sponsored program to help families in need provide gifts for their children at Christmas. We partner with Toys for Tots, and as a church family we also host Angel Tree. Each child receives several presents, wrapped and presented with love and care.

Evangelism: Teams meet in various areas throughout the North County and share the Gospel, pray for people, and reach out with the love of Christ. Times differ from weekdays in the summer, to Friday nights/Saturday afternoons through the entire year.

Food for Life: Every Saturday morning, a group of dedicated people meet to pack and distribute boxes of groceries for those in need. We are honored to partner with Feeding San Diego, and receive additional supplies from Food for Less, WinCo, Costco, Sprouts, Bimbo, and more. Anyone is welcome to join our volunteer team, and there are no registration or fees for families looking for assistance. Harvest Festival: A free community event with Carnival Booths, games, jumpies, free food, and lots of candy! A safe and fun family alternative to Halloween.

Veteran’s Day Reception: We are proud to have many Veteran congregants and we honor them each year with a special recognition service, and a reception. We include all Veteran family members and friends, and we’d love to host you as well if you are a Veteran.

vistAlive: a special service every Sunday night at 6 pm, for youth and by youth! Students have the opportunity to have a time set apart for them, leading their own worship, playing games, and hanging out together. Students are discipled and pray together.
