Patti Willoughby has been a long time member of Life Christian Church since 1991, and a graduate of Word Bible College.  After years of faithful service, she decided to go on her first medical mission trip in 2005, and walked the land in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala.  It was there she heard and obeyed call of God to be a full-time missionary.  She then retired in 2007, from her secular career of 33 years, and began working with Living Water Teaching as a missionary.

Her primarily duties, for the last two years, has been teaching  Bible-based Christian education to youth of all ages, and also Bible college classes to Central and South American locals.  She is also an intercessor in prayer for healing, salvation and deliverance, and does street evangelism.

In November 2009, Patti returned to the US for a short time and separated herself as a staff missionary in the Living Water Teaching organization.  She now will venture out independently as part of Life Christian Church world missions and she’s going again to Guatemala in March 2010.  She will then tutor students at the ACE school at Living Water Academy until school closes in June. 

During one street evangelism event, she bought an eight-year old shoeshine boy a pair of shoes to replace his open-toed shoes and cover his bare feet at the command of God.  With one pair of shoes “from Jesus”, 12 boys came to know Jesus and get saved.  She plans to evangelize again buying shoes for the street children, and share Jesus and his precious love.

VISION
Go into all nations and minister the gospel to unreached and untaught people. Go with the Word of God and share His mercy and grace with the lost and hurting. Go share God’s love and compassion that brings His healing and wholeness.

PLAN
Take mission trips all over the world to reach the sick, fatherless and abandoned.  Take God’s word and truth that sets the bound free and brings joy and peace. Take Holy Spirit-filed Christian believers that stand on the Word of God.

PURPOSE
Help non-believers move toward God by giving encouragement and faith-filled messages.     Help sustain the needy in poverty-stricken areas by supplying resources that meet their needs. Help bring new life changes to those living outside the will of our living God.
