Dr. Ingolf Schmidt

Dr. Ingolf Schmidt is the Pastor of Christian Faith Center in Leipzig, Germany. He was born in 1958 to athiest parents in the communist country of East Germany.

In 1978, as a soldier of the Communist Army, he gave his life to Jesus Christ. Pastor Schmidt founded his church in Communist Germany in 1985 before the Wall came down, but at this point it was not an official church, because it was forbidden by the Communist Government. In 1992 Pastor Schmidt was ordained by Dr. Lester Sumrall.

Since that time Pastor Schmidt has maintained a strong traveling ministry, which has led him through Europe, the USA and Asia. He and his wife Angela have been married for 28 years and have 3 Children. He is also operates a fellowship campus in Leipzig, Germany under the covering of the School of Bible Theology Seminary & University, San Jacinto, CA.
