The delicious smells of grills sizzling
with cooking meat, kids laughing and dripping from just having been in the waves and the sounds of
singles playing a wild card game at the Cabanas – this is the annual Fourth of July experience at LCC.
Like a huge happy family of friends, Lifers and family members enjoy a huge meal, energetic pickup games
of Volleyball and grilled fish from Pastor’s stash!
At 2pm, there’s a water baptism where candidates are baptized
in the waves while Church family members cheer on form the shore. If you are getting baptized meet with Roger
Souders at 1:30 for a brief explanation on baptism and what will happen. Sign up to be baptized at the
Welcome Center or online and make sure to pick up the “things you should know about Water Baptism”
sheet.
