Every kid goes to school. Some kids due to lack of money will walk into their school campuses this fall without
essential items in their backpacks, like paper and pencils. Those are the kids we want to help on August 2nd. LIFE
is sponsoring a Back to School Giveaway and outreach. Registration will happen right before the morning service,
and after attending an uplifting service, families will be given backpacks for their children and treated to an old
fashioned BBQ lunch. Our goal is to distribute hundreds of backpacks on that day, as well as provide shirts, jeans
and shoes for kids who need them. For any kid who wants it, they will get a free hair cut so they can look sharp
for their first day of school!
Register by phone before the
event to secure a backpack (some restrictions apply).
LIFE is receiving your items from now until August 1st. To find out what you

Life Christian Church - Caring for our Community!
We have seen the current economic crisis befalling many households in the North County
San Diego area, which is causing people to experience the pain of undue financial hardships. Life Christian Church,
located in Oceanside, CA, has an outreach program called Life Impact which has a vision to reach the less fortunate
members of our community and provide them relief.
On Sunday, August 2nd, they will be holding an event that reaches out to the local
community. The aim is to help underprivileged kids in North San Diego County. They will be helping families by
providing back packs with school supplies, as well as school clothing, shoes, bicycles, skateboards, and toys to
help make their difficult situations a little better.
Life Impact events not only provide food, prizes, bike giveaways, but they also
promote a positive message. We are planning to help hundreds of people that are in need of items such as back
packs, notebooks, pencils, colored pens, pencil sharpeners, glue sticks, folders, erasers, crayons, scissors,
